Vintage Wear for Everyday
As much as we love dressing up for an occasion in our floor skimming velvet Voodoo Vixen dresses and putting our hair into Victory Rolls, we are also embracing vintage style for the everyday – whether that be in the office or popping to the supermarket on a Saturday, vintage never goes out of style!
As you may have seen we have the wonderful pieces from Miss Victory Violet back in stock although we imagine not for long as they are selling like hot cakes! These stunning pieces are classics and the Veronica Tartan Pencil Dress would be the perfect dress to wear to work on a Monday; it can only elevate you from those Monday blues. With a chic tartan design and classic pencil shape and details like the bow on the shoulder and dipped pleats to the back you will certainly have people talking at the water cooler!
Tuesday is all about the trousers; our Sara Blue 40s Style Trousers are wide legged with decorative buttons on the side. Wear with the cute white Joyanna Snowflake Sweater and a pair of kitten heels and every step will scream vintage!
Midweek we are back to dresses in a dramatic way, our Lia Black Dress has a cute flare and the glamour of a faux fur detachable collar. This ultra flattering shape and striking piece will work well in the boardroom as much as the weekend!
Thursday we are channelling vintage sirens in our flocked houndstooth print Lilly Rose Pencil Skirt, teamed with the Von Teese Top Pink, inspired by our ultimate queen of vintage Dita Von Teese, this look is fun and vintage all rolled into one! The top is particularly versatile and would work well with your vintage 50’s skirts as much as a pair of jeans!
Friday I’m in love with our bright red Dita 50s Flared Red Dress with cut-out detail, this high necked button clasp dress, has puffed shoulders, full-length sleeves and is in a flattering A-line shape. Team this with our cute Kathy Cat Stitch Cardigan, which has adorable button eyed knitted kitties all over it, a perfect flirty and fun look for the last day of the week!
For styling your vintage pieces we recommend adding some subtle waves to your hair for the screen starlet look, a black wing with some liquid eyeliner and the classic red lippy, even when you are feeling tired or just need a little boost red lipstick will always help your mood!
Whether you want to create a nod to vintage or a look that transforms you to a different era we have a fantastic variety of garments that can be worked with modern day pieces so you can be your true vintage vixen self Monday to Friday!
